A dedicated group of generous BACA members voluntarily host regular weekly carrom sessions right at their homes—mostly in their garage setups—on Fridays and weekends!

Our active venues in the South Bay (160+ members) and East Bay (120+ members) maintain their own dedicated WhatsApp groups to coordinate weekly session invites and RSVPs easily.

Can I Host a Practice Session at My Home?

Yes, absolutely! Anyone in the Bay Area community with a carrom board and some space (such as a garage, living area, or patio) can host a session. You decide the day, starting time, duration, and how many players can comfortably join.

BACA is delighted to help new hosts with guidance, equipment recommendations, powder advice, and community outreach.

Practice Session Etiquette

  • RSVP ahead of time: Please confirm your attendance in the regional WhatsApp group so the host can plan board counts.
  • Rotate boards graciously: If there are more players than board spots, rotate after each board or set so all attendees enjoy quality playing time.
  • Care for equipment: Use approved powders gently, handle tournament carrom men carefully, and avoid placing food or drinks directly on board surfaces.
  • Support fellow players: Encourage beginners, share strategic tips generously, and foster a warm, welcoming environment for all.
